PRODUCT FEATURES

RECOMMENDATIONS

Deposit resists heavy impact load without deformation. User friendly product for application subject to shock load & compounding in service. Machinable deposit makes it suitable for repairing gear teeth build up for girth gear power transmitting mechanism.

PROCEDURE

Clean weld area. Use Excel Gouge to remove damaged / fatigued metal. Preheat the base metal @ 100-150⁰C. Use Weaving based on the area to build up. Multi-pass build up can be given without cracking. Remove slag between passes. Allow the deposit to cool slowly.
