A graphite coated low hydrogen with Niobium carbide electrode for high abrasion and sliding wear resistance at high temperatures. Performs exceptionally well on application of Drag line bucket, screw conveyors, Crushers teeth, Scraper, and Iron ore handing equipment’s reconditioning.
An advanced electrode for welding of carbon steel and austenitic manganese steels for applications encountering abrasion and erosion at elevated temperatures. The deposit consists of high percentage of special constituents which retain hardness up to 600°C.
Remove all damaged and fatigued weld metal and clean weld area. Maintaining short to medium arc length, deposit stringer or 1 ½ X weaved beads. For high carbon steels, preheat upto 250°C. Use “Excel Bond 086” as a cushion alloy if more build up is required. For austenitic manganese steels, do not allow temperature of parts to rise more than 150°C and use “Excel Bond 004” as cushion layer.
